Guinness Brisket Marinade Recipe

If you like the taste of Guinness, believe it or not a lot people don’t. It has a very dark bold taste. However if you truly love the taste of Guinness you will love this brisket marinade recipe.  You can literally taste the Guinness in the meat after it’s cooked.

Get yourself a nice 1.5 – 2lb brisket and a big plastic container to hold the brisket and the below marinade contents and let it sit at least three hours. I let mine site literally over night.  Cook your brisket however you normally do following meat temperature safety standards.  As you can see in the image I posted I cooked mine slow over an oak wood fire pit. I left the brisket wrapped tight in aluminum foil with a lot of the marinade in the foil. Once it was cooked I unwrapped it and cooked it exposed to get some crisp bbq flavor on the outside. 1 bottle Guinness

2 cups Coke

2 tablespoons Minced Garlic

1 tablespoon parsley

1 tablespoon cilantro

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon of dark brown sugar

2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper
