New Irish Cookbook – My Irish Table Cathal Armstrong

A new Irish Cookbook was released last month written by Cathal Armstrong and David Hagedorn. I came across it reading an interview the author Armstong gave to Reuters’ Richard Leong.  Dublin-born Cathal Armstrong a celebrated chef of several Washington D.C. area restaurants responds to the following question:

“Q: What is your “go to” ingredient at home?

A:  Sriracha sauce”   I love it! The entire interview is linked at the bottom.

We’re are happy to hear spicy condiments are working their way into Irish fare more and more. I’m not sure if there are any spicy recipes in the book but we will be sending some complimentary McCoy’s Thick Hot Irish Sauce to one of their restaurants.   Also, we will be buying the book and hope you do too.  It’s on Amazon here
